Probably my favourite song of the year especially this live version. Exceptional stuff and recommended for anyone that likes a whiff of Amenra in their post-metal.
A love; erroneous, shrouded in dirt. Blood runs gold, return to earth. Digging the wound, pulling the nerve, breathing through ash, fathom the hurt. Wretched empath I am. Cultivating these losses and truths. Withering flora, revel in numb abandon. Experience love through this lens. Callous and claw forward, on silent entropy and fractured nail.
Void in the eye, wound in the palm. Hold, sit with it, if I can meditate to the grinding of teeth. Drained of all colour, the walls askew. Pacing, I’ve forgotten how to be alone.

In many ways, I was born slightly too late to be someone who *seriously* got into Nirvana. I have to say that I owe my current interest in Nirvana to Thou. These covers are amazing (and heavy). JDMP

A bludgeoning crush of oppressive sludge doom laid out as pained songs filled with feedback, aggressive vocals, and hammering guitar and drums. Mindful enough to not simply bash the listener's skull in (at least not too much), the 'softer' touches that draw out quieter sections between swells allows for a reprieve that make the heavy parts all the more compelling.
The agonizing sound is akin to bands like Indian, Lord Mantis, Primitive Man, Thou, or Coffinworm. Otherwise, it fucks. Lorenzo
On their incredible new album, Swiss group Abraham deliver a relentless assault of punishing noise rock, eight tracks of primal fury. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 26, 2022

I've finally got Black Line on physical copy and this record actually blew my mind. There's so much beauty to this album but also its so crushingly heavy and extreme in an audio sense, Respire don't hold back they just let everything go and beyond, amazing!! Darknight
